If you’re used to hanging out on social networks and YouTube, you’ve often had the opportunity to come across posts from national and foreign influencers. Nowadays, there are so many that you end up wondering who this person is. It happens that in their videos, they talk about a particular product, wear clothes from a certain brand, use products of a certain brand.

This practice is called influencer marketing. More explicitly, it is a strategy that uses the power of influence of an opinion leader to promote a brand. For example, let’s imagine the opening of a new restaurant offering Japanese dishes. The marketing manager decided to contact a celebrity in the city, who had more than 500,000 followers on Facebook. She goes there, orders, starts a live video and starts bragging about the kitchen. She ends the video by inviting her followers to attend, as she is very satisfied. And indeed, people are rushing to it.

These people have such power of influence that they can change the public opinion of a brand. Influencers make a lot of money by creating engaging content. Of course, this doesn’t always work 100% and there are still some parameters to consider.
